Recognised for its antiviral, antimicrobial, antioxidant and iron binding properties, BioactiveMAX™ Lactoferrin can help stimulate cell growth, support immunity and to defend against infection in both  adults and infants. 

Our gentle spray- and freeze-drying processes protect the heat sensitive proteins in lactoferrin and ensure better retention of antioxidant, antimicrobial and iron binding properties.

Bioactive functionality

Lactoferrin with 90% purity. Lactoferrin is a glycoprotein which occurs naturally in milk and which has a range of bioactive functions, including antimicrobial activity and iron binding capacity. BioactiveMAX™ Lactoferrin 90 is available in either freeze-dried or spray-dried formats.

Lactoferrin with 95% purity. Lactoferrin is a glycoprotein which occurs naturally in milk and which has a range of bioactive functions, including antimicrobial activity and iron binding capacity. BioactiveMAX™ Lactoferrin 95 is available in either freeze-dried or spray-dried formats.

FerrinX™ Low Iron Lactoferrin is a highly active Apo-Lactoferrin, low in iron and high in functionality. In examining the antimicrobial action of FerrinX, the Research and Development team at Westland Milk Products have consistently found it shows up to four times more activity than regular lactoferrin. FerrinX™ Low Iron Lactoferrin is available in either freeze-dried or spray-dried formats.
