Westland has the best of both worlds when it comes to product development. We get support and expertise and work collaboratively with the Yili Innovation Centres, but we also run our own research and development projects using our skilled in-house innovation team.

We are currently testing our high protein dairy powders (MPC70, MPC85, WPC80 and Acid Casein) for their key physicochemical, functional and application properties. We will include an overview of findings in our Westpro TotalPRO marketing collateral. The information will detail the specific properties of the powders including the effects of factors such as reconstitution/heating temperature and acidity. It will help the end-users of our high protein powders to maximise ingredient performance across the spectrum of applications.

As we continue to further develop our products, we are exploring opportunities to better meet our customers’ needs.
