Welcome to our spring edition of the Westpro News. It is the busiest time of the year for both our farmer suppliers and our collection, processing and distribution teams. The new milk season is in full swing gearing up to peak production at the end of October. Milk collections for the new season started in July, with the first pick-ups of colostrum on August 1 – slightly earlier than usual – to boost supply of this in-demand, nutritionally rich food. The good news is that we have 30 percent more farmers supplying Westpro BioactiveMAX™ Colostrum compared to last season. This month there’s also a strong focus on our other products including the addition of Spray-dried BioactiveMAX™ Lactoferrin to complement our traditional Freeze-dried BioactiveMAX™ Lactoferrin, and our lineup of protein powders.
